• I found this book to be extremely light and self-involved. There is nothing of real substance in it. She likens her soup broth to combing her hair. And, for example, lists "cozy" things about visiting the Tower of London like "getting a map." This book is not all all what I had expected.
• Gillies' book is part memoir, part how-to, and all cozy. It takes us on a personal tour of the places, activities, and personal touches that have made her own life better-- and that create warmth and joy for her family. This book is a love letter to New York City, parenting, cooking, and practicing thoughtful self-care-- a useful and relaxing reminder that anything can be made cozy if you set your mind (and your heart) to it.
• Good read. Makes you look at things at a different angle. It’s a must read for everyone. I highly recommend it.

• I saw this book on a shelf and picked it up. The book speaks of home and hearth, travel and adventure. This book takes us to work and back again. The book points you in the direction of calm, restful acts and beautiful touch stones you can find in a often to busy, too crazy world. Open up cozy and take a deep breath of calm!
